Yes, absolutely. DCP is a digital community platform, as such, it is open for different applications. Spacecom provides its own set of applications, however, you can add, subtract, or change any of the applications to match each community’s special needs. Our DCP is highly flexible and scalable.
There is a very simple answer to this question – As many as you need. The DCP uses Ignite-Power solar solutions for electricity and Spacecom’s AMOS-17, the most advanced satellite in Africa, used for connectivity. This way it is an independent solution that works in on-grid and off-grid communities alike. Smart and efficient network management keeps the operational cost as low as possible, and enables you to support as many communities needed.
That depends on the geographic location of the community, since logistics and installation may vary from one site to another. Logistics aside, a DCP deployment will take any time from a single day to a week, depending on the bill of material.
Does the sun shine from the east? Depending on the scale of each project, Spacecom works with it’s customers to make sure they are operating the most suitable communication solutions for their needs at all times. Making pro services affordable is part of the solution.
